Just set-up and mounted new speakers using these mounts. Installation was easy and had no problems with tightening or anchors as some previous reviewers had. My husband wanted me to wait until he got home because he thought it would be to difficult for me to figure out but I guess "even a cavewoman can do it". I love the versatility of these mounts. We have vaulted ceilings in our family room with a little nook (with built-in entertainment center) that I used the extension to mount to the ceiling and on the other side of the room, I mounted to the wall without the extension. The only suggestion I have is figure out how you want your speakers to face/angle before really tightening down and always tighten the set screws closets to the wall, then the angle screw and last, the set screw closest to the speakers. It really makes it easier to reach and adjust.
