This product does exactly what it says it will do and does it effortlessly! Since it senses what device is outputting a signal, you don't even have to use the nifty remote control. Oppo is an excellent company to deal
with. They make fine products and support them with firm ware and prompt efficient information and service.
If you need such a device for multiple HDMI sources, this item is impossible to beat for price, fit, finish and function - much better, in my opinion, than the Radio Shack version which costs almost as much and is quite flimsy.

I almost bought the new Samsung hi-def DVD dual format player until i read about people waiting for firmware updates and decided to buy seperate players and the OPPO Switcher instead and was still less $$$ ! I'am running a Toshiba A35 HD and Panasonic 30k Blu-Ray players thru this unit and it works flawlessly !!!! its great because it automatically switches to between the players, whichever one is sending a signal to it ! from what i have read this is the best one on the market, most of the other ones have aweful reviews .... if you need a switcher this the one.Customer Review: Great product!!

This was my first switch. After reviewing many comments on many different brands of switches, I decided to try this one. It was worth the money. It is professionally packaged and set-up was a snap. Worked right the first time. I have a Dish HD receiver, and a magnavox upconvert DVD player hooked up to the switch. When I turn the DVD player on, it automatically switches from the satellite to the DVD player. When the DVD player is turned off, it automatically switches back to the satellite. I did a fair amount of research on HDMI switches before buying this one. It seems many of them are quirky, reduce picture quality, and don't work well with always-on devices such as Sat receivers/DVRs. This device works with my PlayStation 3 and DirecTV HR20 DVR. With the DVR on port 3 (as their website suggests), it auto switches between the PS3 and DVR just fine. I closely compared my video performance with and without the HM-31 installed, and could discern no difference in picture quality. I've only had it 3 days, but so far, I'm impressed.Customer Review: A must have for your HD Entertainment System

I have a 60" Panasonic HDTV, but with only 1 HDMI input connection. The OPPO HM-31 Certified HDMI 1.3 and 1080p Switch solves that problem. Believe me, this device works as advertise. For less than a hundred dollars you get to add 3 additional HDMI input connections to your TV. Now I have my PC, PS3 and cable box hooked to my TV, all in digital. Everything looks so amazing. From Blu-Ray movies to PS3 games to regular TV or HDTV. It all is so damn good. I kick myself for not getting this sooner.
All in all: A Great Buy!!
