I love OCZ memory. This module greatly increased the performance of my Eee PC. I run casual games, e-mail, and business applications mostly, but with this increase in memory I've been able to run several "modern" titles at playable resolutions. I insstalled this 2 GB memory in my Asus 1000H/XP. I did not have to change the BIOS settings or anything else. The unit came up and recognized the increase. Speed improvements are noticable with multiple windows open or editing large image files. A simple inexpensive upgrade that doubles the stock memory in a Asus eee PC1000H.
Just take the standard static electric and grounding precautions, remove the panel on the bottom of the PC1000H, unclip the 1GB memory module and snap this one in.
The price is right and the results are well worth the effort.

So far so good as this memory works great with my new EEE PC 901 by Asus (netbook) Upgraded from the 1 GB by simply swapping out prior to starting the system for the first time. The EEE PC did the rest without a problem. I also upgraded my hubby's new EEE PC 1000HA before 1st start and it went smoothly. Recommended :o)Customer Review: system bios

I just installed this memory in my Asus Eee PC 900HA. Windows info screen still showed only .99 gig of memory, rebooted in safe mode by holding the F2 key on start up then went to the system BIOS screen where it showed 2048 meg. of memory, rebooted Windows XP and now the system info screen showes 1.99 gig of memory!
