Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Nyrius NY-GS3200 5.8GHz 6 Channel Wireless Audio/Video Sender Transmitter & Receiver System with IR Remote ExtenderCustomer Review: Works great! Summary: 5 Stars
Much, much better then what I expected! The picture and audio are both clear.
Hook up took a total of 5 minutes as long as the antennas are pointed close to line of sight it works great! I can now view and hear the same program on my new TV in my office what is being viewed by my Big Screen in the living room. No more yelling what did they say?!? Or having to pause so I can run over and see it clearly.
We are only going about 25 and there is no wall but a metal banister is in the way. We don't have the IR setup yet and I'm not sure we will based on our use.
Connection is component only...no composite or HDMI...Works for me but if you are looking to expand your HDTV signal to another TV this is not the product for you.
Customer Review: kitchen, treadmill, garage...Oh my Summary: 5 Stars
I use this wireless AV sender. I have a small tv in the kitchen that I did not want to drill holes for and did not want to pay for another Directv box. This version comes with the sender and receiver. I love it. Picture is great once you aim the antennae properly. I will also take the receiver in to the basement to watch Directv while on the treadmill. Have even taken outside to the garage to watch a race. Partner with the Directv RF remote and I can change channels too! It does have a infrared repeater, but this did not work properly. A little pricey, but the versatility made it worth it for me.
Update: 03/28/10: Still going strong. This AV sender has paid for itself. Saved $$$ on additional cable boxes. I am upgrading to 5 stars.
Customer Review: A great product and tech support if needed Summary: 5 Stars
This A/V transmitter works just as advertised. Do understand that this only transmitts an analog signal, not a digital signal. This means you do not need to have a digital TV (e.g., LCD) as the receiving TV - the old CRT type with AV inputs will do just fine.
I hooked it up to HD box and receive on an LDC TV. Hookup was easy - no problems. If you have a 5.8GH phone you might get some interference, but my receiver sits right next to the phone and I have not had any problems.
I can't wait for the high-def transmitter to come on the market.
Finally, I had to contact the manufactuer's technical support with a minor issue and got GREAT service!
Customer Review: It works and it is pretty cool! Summary: 5 Stars
Bought these so we could play movies and TV shows from the Computer directly on the TV without having to burn onto a CD. You need a converter cable if your computer doesn't have an RCA hook up and it took us an hour or two to figure out that we needed to upgrade the graphics card and put the right dual display settings on the monitor but once we figured it out, it worked perfectly - both audio and video. The picture loses a little quality and sometimes the size of the movie/TV show doesn't take up the whole TV screen but it is pretty cool to watch anything from the computer on any TV in the house in real time. It is instant gratification.
Customer Review: Wireless Sender Summary: 5 Stars
If I had known that this product was available sooner AND it was so inexpensive AND it was so easy to setup and use, I would have been a hero at church much sooner. We use this to transmitt Sunday morning service throughout the building. I have 1 transmitter hooked up to a video camera and 3 receivers on TV (one HDTV). I've noticed the wide screen TV's show more of the picture but it always sounds like you're in the same room. Sometimes getting the antenna in just the right place is tricky, but once you get it and leave it alone you're fine. I would recommend this to anyone trying to view something without running wires.
