Use this cable with "Sonic Adventure 2: Battle":
If you've played Dreamcast's "Sonic Adventure" or "Sonic Adventure 2", then you're familiar with the beloved critters called "Chaos" (pronounced "ch" as in "chocolate"). With Game Cube's version, "Sonic Adventure 2: Battle", just remove your Game Cube controller from it's port, plug one end of this "Cube Link Advanced" cable into it, and connect your GBA to the other end. You can then transfer Chaos from your Game Cube's "Sonic Adventure 2: Battle" game to your GBA.
Now, I know what you're thinking, "Oh, I could do the same thing with the Dreamcast and a VMU. Then, I could take my Chaos for a 'walk' and play games with it." But, no! This is NOTHING like a Chao on a Dreamcast VMU! Your Chaos will not only be seen in the GBA's 32bit color, but you'll also be able to play REAL games on your GBA with your little Choas such as "Chao Karate" and "Chao Racing"! Also, trade Chaos with your friends via a GBA2GBA link cable!
"Animal Forest" (Japanese-only at this time):
Even though I do own a Japanese-import Game Cube, I have yet to get my hands on this game. Therefore, I can't tell you first-hand what transfers to the GBA; however, it seems that it's very similar to what I described above with the Chaos, except here it will be with the little animals from this game.
Another function served by this "GBA-to-Game Cube" cable is that it will allow you to use your GBA as a Game Cube controller (with compatible games only). For instance, you'll be able to plan "secret" football plays on your GBA, then execute them in the Game Cube game so that your opponent won't be able to see them coming!
...
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle (requires Sonic Advance) - Lets you trade Chao between the two games. Also the first game to use the cable
Animal Crossing - Lets you go to the Island. Also lets you use E-Reader cards with the game.
Metroid Prime (requires Metroid Fusion) - You can get the Varia suit on Metroid Prime if you beat Fusion, and you can play the original NES Metroid on your GBA if you beat Prime
Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker - Lets you use the Tingle Tuner for use on your adventure
Pokemon Box: Ruby and Sapphire (yes, this is a real game. As far as I know, only a Japanese release date is confirmed. Requires Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire) - Lets you play Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire on a Gamecube, using the GBA as a controller, and store Pokemon on the boxes on the Gamecube.
Also, you can use the GameBoy Advance as a controller for controlling GBA games on the GameBoy Player. It dosen't support many games now, but still, BUY IT! Some games require it if you need it to do certain things, some games require it, and if you use it in certain games, you can unlock certain things that you can't normally acess. And another plus, you can use it for a controller for PokeBox and GB Player.
