Netgear Prosafe 8-Port 10/100 Switch with 4-Port PoE - Perfect for a small business, this 8-port 10/100Mbps Ethernet switch makes it easy to setup a computer network. You get Plug-and-Play operation with automatic detection and setup of network requirements. The main feature however, is that 4 of the 8 ports support PoE devices. PoE stands for Power Over Ethernet, and like the name implies, it supplies power for networking devices, without the need of an electrical outlet. That gives you an amazing amount of freedom in setting up devices. Like wireless access points and IP-based surveillance cameras.
