Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of NETGEAR GS108 ProSafe 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Desktop SwitchCustomer Review: No brainer Summary: 5 Stars
What can I say about Netgears blue box items? Plug in the power, plug in your network connections and your off and running. No other set up, no maintenance..it just works. You may want to read through the instructions to understand what all the lights mean but that's even optional in most cases.
Customer Review: It just works Summary: 5 Stars
I was looking for a switch to connect my home network. I wanted gigabit, even though right now the network is only distributing the internet to several computers, because I don't want to worry about obsolescence. Anyway, all I did was plug the device in and it worked. What more can you ask for?
Customer Review: Works great Summary: 5 Stars
Very space efficient, very reliable, never any lockups or issues, but does produce a decent amount of heat. Constructed very durably with metal, but not the most stylish. Stylish isn't really that important in a spot where wiring is coming together, however.
Fully recommended.

I had no problem plugging in the switch.
No configuration, no special anything.
I plugged in the cables, turned the power on, and it's been working.
The only thing I don't like is the fact that the cables come out the front.
Customer Review: Top of the line in switch technology and build quality Summary: 5 Stars
Netgear is without a doubt the best out there. The metal housing is top notch and it is built like a tank. Everything works great out of the box and there are zero issues. I would take Netgear over linksys, or D-link any day. Go with quality, go with Netgear.
