Customer Review: Works great, nice little item when you need to share offices
Summary: 5 Stars

Our company is growing by leaps and bounds to the point that we have several offices that are being shared. When the offices were built there was only a single data port going to each, so rather than hire someone to come in and pull new wire to each of the offices, I instead used these to share the office single dataport.

They work great, and I have had no problems.

Customer Review: Fantastic for Gamers
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased this so I could hook up my XBox and my Playstation direct instead of using wireless. I used the Netgear Powerline HD Plus to get the connection to the downstairs but it only provides a single connection. I plugged the cable into this little bad boy and both gamming systems are online and I still have room to add a WII and a new model TV. Works great..

Customer Review: Great little switch!
Summary: 5 Stars

If you need a Gigabit switch for your home network, give this one some serious consideration. It's built well (metal case) and just works.

I suppose that the only problem that some may have with this switch is that the ports are on the front. I have no problems with this arrangement, but it could be less than desirable in some situations.

Customer Review: Works well
Summary: 5 Stars

I have had no trouble with this switch. Other reviews suggested some major issues, especially when using two together. I think that maybe there were runs of defective products, or people with miswired networks? Not sure. Have had no issues, does not run hot, even after transferring large (gigabytes) amounts of data, still fairly cool to the touch.

Customer Review: easy to use
Summary: 5 Stars

plug it in. plug in your ethernet cables. watch it go. easy as that.

There is nothing to it. This thing just works. It's fast and easy to use. I have a small home network and it's perfect for hooking up my xbox, dvr, and laptops (when i want to hardwire them) in my living room with only 1 ethernet feed to the room. good stuff.
