This print server was very easy to install. I bought a D-link wireless print server about 2 years ago that was a real pain to install (which later broke after a power surge). I have been putting off getting a new one because I thought that walking to the printer to plug in my USB cord was easier than installing another print server -- I was wrong.
This one couldn't have been easier to install! I would definitely recommend this print server!

I knew I was taking a chance on this product after reading other reviews here, many of which were negative. I also was taking a chance because my printer - an older HP Color LaserJet 2550L - was not included on Netgear's list of supported printers.
But in about 10 minutes of following the setup instructions, I had moved my printer to the next room, printed my first documents, and - best of all - reclaimed badly needed desk space.

I just intalled the WGPS606. It works fantastically as a wireless bridge and print server. Installation was straight forward and easy. I now have two printers, a Canon i950 and an HP 1210xi, accessible on the network. I had a Dell running 24 hours a day so that my family could share a printer. Now all computers will sleep in the household. I should save enough money in electricity to pay for the print server.Customer Review: Great product, easy setup -- but make sure its compatible with your printer

It's rare to buy a wireless network product and have it up and running successfully in just minutes. But that was my experience with this Netgear wireless print server.
This print server works great with my HP officejet v40, but you should check the Netgear website to make sure it works with your specific model. Simply go to the support section and search for "Print Server Compatibility List."

We have two laptops at home and one printer, and having a laptop tied to a printer with a USB cable seemed to defeat the purpose of a laptop.
I ordered this puppy from Amazon on Wednesday, it was delivered Thursday (how do they do that?), and installed in less than 20 minutes. We are now totally wireless and can share the printer.
It works perfectly!! Thanks Netgear and Amazon.
