The ad appears that you can stand or perhaps hold the blacklight 1-2 feet from the carpet. WRONG. I had to hold the blacklight 1-2 inches above the carpet and slowly sweep back and forth because the "glowing" spots were not that prominent. I tried this stuff, followed the directions, didn't seem to work at all. What Really worked was Urine off. That stuff worked wonders.
