I have two of these headsets. I use one for the office (everyday use) and another for the Gym (3-4 times a week). I bought it for listening to music on my cell and not for phone calls. It is great. I can change the track & volume without touching my cell, directly from the headset. I don't really have anything bad to say because it does everything I expected it to do. It fits perfect around my head (I have a big head) and really is comfortable. Really easy to remember the controls (left is volume & right is track changes). I highly recommend this for those who can't live without a cell phone and use it for everything. Plus, I hate iPods so I download mp3s from anywhere and add it to my cell and I never miss a beat. After reading so many negative reviews on this items perfomance I was sceptical. The price was right so I ordered them and I tell you, It's been over 2 months and they work great!
Even after sweating like a pig, the volume , phone and next track buttons work fine. I think those who put the negative reviews were probably very rough on their set. Besides, if they do malfunction, Amazon has them for less then $50.
The phone option is not %100 but its bluetooth so dont expect much.
As Stereo Headphones they are F'n awesome!!!!
Mine go all day after a full charge. I use them for 4-6 hours a day!!
If you are considering this purchase, DO IT!!
If you know how to take care of your electronic devices you will be fine.

I bought this without even knowing if they where going to work as I'm a Linux user and these things are usually made for Windows and Mac only. I bought them to listen music while at work, from my computer.
So I get them, charge them and hook them to my mobile phone, so far so good.
Then after some minor configuration tasks I get them paired to my computer and am listening music. So they work perfectly with Ubuntu 8.10 and 9.04. Actually much better than what I expected, because I read on several reviews that you had to have the source very close, strap your ipod to your uper arm and what not... well I can walk like 30 feet away from my computer and sound remains perfect. Happy!

These MOTOROKR S9 headphones were everything I expected them to be. Great sound quality, reasonable battery life, solid ergonomics. The sound quality is of course subjective. But, I would say they are at least as good as the other earbud style headphones on the market (save the insanely expensive ones.) They have quickly become my first choice for audio on my notebook and desktop PCs. I did have a little trouble getting these to appear as speakers in Windows (XP or Vista or Windows 7), but that was ultimately a problem with the flimsy Bluetooth stack in Windows and no fault of the product.
I would definitely purchase these again and recommend them to my friends.
Customer Review: a great treadmill and weight lifting headset

I was seeking a way to watch T.V. in my basement while running on the treadmill and lifting weights in the early morning hours. The T.V. had to be turned up way too loud so that I could hear it while on the treadmill. I started by purchasing an FM transmitter and using my arm-band fm "walkman" type of device. The reception was terrible unless I stood right next to the transmitter.
I bought the S9 and the Motorola DC800 stereo adapter. These two paired easily and the sound is unbelievable. I can run on the treadmill and watch "loud" T.V. and there are no reception problems. I would highly recommend this headset to anyone.
