This plug strip was a great addition to our travel electronics on a recent European trip. The cord is short and the unit compact so that it took up little room. Combined with the appropriate plug adaptor we we able to charge three item from one wall outlet. With the number of electronic devises we all carry; phone, iPod, camera, computer, etc, finding a simple charging solution is a challenge. This product is a great solution. It's impossible to travel these days without a bag full of electronics, from the cell phone charger, the laptop AC adapter to a Bluetooth plug-in and more. The problem is finding enough outlets in a hotel room to plug in everything. The Monster MP 4 outlet travel power strip is the solution. The cord is short; the plug fits into one of the receptacles, allowing the power strip to fit neatly into your luggage or computer bag. 4 outlets will provide enough plug ins so you'll never be without power.Customer Review: Perfect for travel

I purchased this power strip to take to Europe. Combined with a plug adapter, it was the perfect way to recharge our cellphone, camera and MP3 players. The receptacles are spaced far apart enough to allow you to plug in the bulky charger plugs. When not in use it wraps and plugs into itself for storage. And the blue light actually functioned as a night light in a series of strange hotel rooms, which was an unforeseen benefit.
I'd recommend this without reservation.

I have only used this product on one trip but I found it very handy. It allows the large blocks found on many electronics plenty of room. I also like the blue light that is in the plug. In a motel room, if you need to get up in the night, it give just enough light to see where you are going. The only negative thing I could say about it is that it is pretty heavy. Good piece of travel equipment for plugging in a laptop, cell phones, etc.

The Monster outlet strip is what you need for traveling. Typically I'm lucky to find one vacant electrical outlet in my motel room to plug into. With the Monster outlet strip I just plug it in a vacant outlet and then I can plug in my laptop charger, cell phone charger, camera battery charger, etc. Works real well. Also it has an indicator light to let you know that the power strip is working (that the electrical plug is hot).
