Ok,I have used this cable my self and just bought another cable from a seller here on amazon for 23.00 usd.at 23 dollars people would be fools not to buy.look under used cables they are actually new.but amazon will not allow them to sell as new at there pricing.And as far a other saying hdmi is hdmi are fools.there are 4 revisions to hdmi cables so far.hdmi,hdmi 1.3a,hdmi 1.3b,hmdi 1.3c.If you are like me a home theater audiophile.you will need this cable.I have a denon dts-hd,dolby hd reciever.the cheap cables would allow sound encoded in hd but reciever sounded muted.wasnt very loud.then i put this cable in a wow what a difference.I tryed 3 other hdmi cables i had laying around same results.think about it..you spent 300-1000 for a good receiver,200-500 for a good blu-ray player but you wont spend 23 dollars to buy a hdmi monster cable?It is a monster cable,hence it will work perfectly with nice tight connections and extremely well built design.what others dont tell you is that the cheap cables can come apart and connections may be loose.SO WHY WOULD YOU TAKE THE CHANCE??don't be fooled buy other reviewers a cheap cable is not as good I KNOW THIS FROM TRIAL AND ERRROR.however do not pay 100+ dollars for this cable that is just foolish.then yes you are getting ripped off.ANOTHER QUESTION I HAVE TO OTHERS OUT THERE.IF YOU HAVE A SAMSUNG TV AND WHEN YOU TURN IT ON THEN POWER UP YOUR DVR OR DVD BLU-RAY PLAYER AND SOUND DOESNT WORK UNTIL YOU RESTART YOUR TV IT IS NOT YOUR TV IT IS YOUR HDMI CABLE.LOOSE FITTING HDMI CABLE TO BACK OF TV CAUSES THIS.BUY THIS CABLE AND PROBLEM IS RESOLVED.Customer Review: Great Cable and too many Monster haters

I purchased a 6ft Hdmi cable from Cables to GO and when I hooked it up to my 70in Sony Tv and T saw some noise in the picture.I replaced it with a Monster cable and the picture was superb. One year later still no problems with the picture. I am very satisfied with this cable and I highly recommend it. I noticed lots of Monster haters rambling about the price. I am pretty certain these are folks who also hate brand name merchandise all togther. Why is it then all these other cable manufacturers compare their products to Monster's? The reason is Monster sets the standard for the others to follow. Monster doesn't try to be them.When you look at Monoprice or Belkin or anyother web site they too have expensive HDMI cables, it's just that they don't spend the money to advertise them. They hope you will know that better materials will cost more than a basic cable.I haven't read in years anyone complaining that Monster cables are of poor quality.
Guess many of you will tell me why buy a BMW when you can get a Chevy for 1/2 the price? And I can't imagine someone spending $2G on a TV to get the clearest picture then putting a $5.00 cable to bring that picture.Why didn't you just by a Soyo TV at a discount store? U'd have some serious savings.

Don't believe the hype that cheap cables are just as good. The people that sell the cheap stuff are the only ones saying that the cables are all the same. What Monster provides is documented evidence and clinical trials that show why higher quality cables are needed. Just because a cable looks the same out the outside doesn't mean it works the same on the inside, just like robots.
I did a test between this cable and a cheap-o cable on my 150" screen. I have an HD projector with a blu-ray machine hooked up so I'm getting the highest consumer grade video quality available. The quality may look fine on a tiny screen but so does VHS compared to DVD. Use a bigger screen and you can easily see the difference, once again the difference is as easy to see as VHS compared to DVD.
You spent thousands of dollars for a good tv and not a cheap brand where they claim does the same thing but actually doesn't. Do you want to fall into the same trap with your cables?
It may not be a popular opinion but it's the truth.

Bottom-line: Monster is the best there is! There is a reason it outsells everyone else. There is a reason why it sounds better, looks better, and performs better. Because IT IS THE BEST!!!! The other companies are completely outclassed. As a producer, musician, and technical professional, I have used and tested every company there is.... Hands down, Monster always gets the job done. They've pioneered the technology and raised the bar. Companies that can't compete just write blogs and try to change peoples minds. But, the fact is, what you get what you pay for. And, with Monster, you get the best! I have Monster in my home and my recording studio. It is the STANDARD. If you want something cheaper, go get it. There's plenty of products out there. Go get them. But, I guarantee that you won't be satisfied and that eventually you'll be back to Monster. This cable is GREAT!!!!!! Don't be fooled or misled. As a man who constructs telegraph networks for a living, I like to think I know a little 'bit' about cables, and I'm here to tell you that these Monster HDMI cables work flawlessly! Believe you me, when it comes to dits and dahs, there's no room for noise!
Each and every bit of data that these cables transmit experience Dubai-esque luxury as it is personally palanquined from your hi-def source of choice to the visual banquet. I know I have never seen discrete signals this pampered!
So when it comes time to choose between mere 'conductors' and a personal Pullman sleeping car attendant for your 1080 train, I think we both know that shameful waffling and womanish indecision must yield to the clean cut of a decisive answer!
