I have purchased quite a few Monster products in the past, including speakers cables, component video, optical audio and power centers. They are all good, well made products. They are not, however, worth the usual asking price. For about 1/10th the retail price, you could find a similar performing product from [...]. Every item I have purchased from Monoprice has performed flawlessly and was dirt cheap. Don't pay out the nose because of the Monster Cable name.
