Customer Review: Simple, helpful and accurate. A must have for HD

When you spend $2000 for a television, you may expect it to perform perfectly right out of the box. However, with different high definition displays, it is important to ensure that the picture you see is as accurate as possible. Some manufacturers produce a display that shows well in a retail store showroom but could need adjusting for your home. I used a similar DVD for our Sony Trinitron several years ago and it helped so I figured for my new Sony SXRD display, I should try the updated version of the calibration DVD. The hostess of the video is pretty and informative. Following the instructions, I was able to ensure that our picture is the best it can be. Fortunately, our factory settings were very close to what we needed and using the DVD took about 15 entertaining minutes. The music video at the end was somewhat unnecessary, but it does give you a chance to check your speakers and see how your color, contrast and brightness settings look. If this DVD were available for rental from a local library or video store, that would be perfect due to the somewhat high price. Of course, you spend $2000 on a TV so I think you can spring $25 for a great calibration DVD! Overall I believe this is well worth the money and easy to use.Customer Review: Keep It Simple Stupid!

I have used just about all the calibration discs on the market and this makes it very simmple to calibrate your tv. Don't bother reading those other reviews, trust me this is the one you want if you dont want to spend hours setting up your tv. 10minutes and your good to go. Test patterns and color bars are useless unless you now what your doing, or you have expensive calibration tools. The most important thing in a good picture is brightness and contrast, your looking to get the most detail out of your picture without washing it out. If you're like me, you're a technology guru, but even guru's such as myself need help sometimes, that's where Monster/ISF's HDTV Calibration Wizard DVD comes in. For about the price of a Blu-Ray or HD DVD, you can pickup this high quality, easy to use, calibration DVD, and calibrate your HDTV like the pros. There's a big difference between a TV right out of the box, and one that's been properly calibrated. I got this back around April 2007 from Amazon and when I received my first flat panel tv from Amazon I did not use this for several months only because I thought I had on my own adjusted the tv for the best picture. I said I would try this cd later since I was enjoying the tv just the way I adjusted it. But later I did use the cd and I was surprised that I was able to get a better picture than the one I thought was the best that I adjusted for my self earlier.Customer Review: Calibrates perfectly - and very easy to use!

I think that this calibration wizard was extremely helpful for me. Not knowing much about electronics, I was able to fine tune the picture quality very quickly and easily. Like the description says, it made for a much more realistic picture quality, better detail, and more accurate contrast. I was surprising impressed! I would highly recommend this to anyone who would like to enhance their tv picture quality!
