Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Monster HDMI400-6M 400 Series HDTV HDMI Cable (6 meters)

Customer Review: RF interference gone!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have a 40inch Sony LCD monitor which is on a separate wall from the rest of my gear. My previous set up included high quality (high priced) component video cables. I still got intermittent RF interference in the form of color shifts and a slowly crawling horizontal line. HDMI completely eliminated the problem. This cable runs through a separate track, but in the same baseboard cable cover as the cable TV hookup and all of my speaker wires with no interference. If you are planning for a long cable run, HDMI is the only way to go. This cable works perfectly.

Customer Review: moster cable
Summary: 5 Stars

Image quality looks fine to me. I was using a 4 foot monster cable of higher grade (HDMI 800 I believe) and I can't tell a difference after switching to this much longer cable in their lower priced line.

Customer Review: Works great, fair value
Summary: 4 Stars

I'm not at all as knowledgeable about this stuff as most of the people that write the reviews so this should may good for people who are clueless about this type of stuff. I had read the reviews before buying this and wasn't sure if I should spend the extra $ on Monster cables or not so I bought this and a less expensive cord at the same time (the less expensive one was still gold plated). I was hooking up to Direct TV and a Panasonic Blu-ray to my HP 1080i HD 47" Flat LCT TV so I needed two anyway. When I switch the cheaper one with this I can't notice any difference in quality. A friend of mine works for Tweeter and helped me with my TV installation so I asked him about it and he said that there's very little difference and he wouldn't spend the $ to upgrade. There's nothing wrong with the Monster cable at all but I spent around $40-$50 on it (which would have been $200+ at the store that I bought the TV at) and $15 on a no name brand and got the same picture as far as I could tell.
