This device appears to work great. Can't comment on the surge protection part and hope to never have to. The 90 degree wall plug is great. One of the best features of this unit. For your electronics, I advise to go with a reputable company. This company has earned a name for itself and you can't go wrong with purchases from this company. The spacing of the plugs are good and will accommodate many different styles of plugs for your equipment. Highly recommend. Of course, No direct lighting strike (surge) will be stopped by this unit or any unit on the market, but for normal power surges, I believe this unit is up to the task.Customer Review: Great produce, hope dont have to use.

I dont know from personal experience, and I really hope not to. My parents had this, and recommended it to me. The transformer outside their house blew and killed the other electronics in their house, but the Big 50" Flatscreen TV.. was saved. But the surge protector... was shot.. it did its job and got fried in the process. While it has a warranty, they didnt want to be without the coverage.. so they bought another one, waiting for the other to come back and put that to use with other things. They told me this and highly recommended me to get one for my new TV as well.. so I did.Customer Review: Great Value

I now have 2 of this particular model. I have many of the Monster surge protectors and think that they are the perfect mate for any home theater application.
This particular model is nice because you can hang it on the wall (included bracket) and the wires plug in sideways, allowing home theater furniture to be placed closer to the wall. You could even get away with hanging it behind a flat panel TV mounted on the wall!

Really nice surge protector. I swear when I hooked everything up to it, it improved the picture quality on my TV. I'd say the improvement was marginal, but noticeable. On the down side, it is REALLY difficult to connect coax connectors on this strip. That seems to be more a function of the threading on the connectors than the tight space to screw them on.
Nonetheless, this is a great value product and I would highly recommend it.

I find this thing a perfect home theater power center, the size, the shape,and everything in this power center was great, i used this with my home theater system, Receiver, tv, hd tank, bluray player, etc, and it works very well, the size is pretty good too. it's not really that expensive but its worth it compare to other power center, you know monster brand, they mean business!! Yes i recommend this product!!!
