I have used the same strip for well over a year now, and This not only allows me to monitor my power usage, it allows me to monitor the electrical grid. I have it hooked up to about a 5000 dollar home theater system and it has been flawless. The sound quality improved and the amp no longer hums with no sound input. I have a newer tv so there is no telling if it would have ever had noise or not, but I can tell you my speakers are shielded well and after multiple power outages, no a surge has hurt anything. this is a wonderful product i recommend to anyone who wants to protect his/her investment.Customer Review: Great for the price

I had been looking for a surge protector/power line conditioner for some time. After upgrading some components, I suffered from some mid-frequency hum in the speakers that I know was related to my cable tv coax and many ac plugs into two weak powerstrips. Well, I can tell you that this item solved my problems. No hum, and the filters I really think make a difference in audio performance. If I had an unlimited budget, I'd buy a high-end power conditioner, but for less than $200, this can't be beat. If you have a decent stereo and/or home theater, you need to get one of these.Customer Review: Doesn't disappoint

Yes it's big, it's Monster, it's probably overpriced but it is sturdy and reliable. I won't say it makes my sound and picture noticable better because I have relatively clean power in my area so it didn't make much of a difference. But I am confident in its surge protecting ability. I like the labels on the strip itself and the stick-on labels provided for your power cords. The digital current gauges are a nice touch. It's interesting to see how much power is consumed in standby mode. I would recommend this.Customer Review: Love it but...

I love Monster products but after 1 week of having this power strip the switched outlets (labeled DVD and Television) don't let enough power through to power my tv anymore. It worked fine then one day I came home from work and my tv had no power. I switched to one of the nonswitched outlets and I have power all day long with no issues. I have contacted Monster with no response yet. Other than that it is a Great product. If they warranty the item I will love Monster more.Customer Review: Good electronics protection

This Monster Cable powercenter is heavy and very well made. It's been in use here for about a month. We've had power outages, storms and this product has provided protection for our TV and sound system. It did what it was supposed to do. If you have one of the new plasma or LCD wide screen TV's with surround it only makes sense to protect your investment with a high end surge protector and 'white noise' filter. I recommend this product.
