I bought this in the slight hope that I would not need a converter to change component to DVI, but clearly not because it did not work. I'm not 100% it was because the moniter would not except it but almost always a simple adapter like this one is not flawed on arrival.
I gave it five stars because I can not say anything bad agaisnt it if I believe I was not able to test it's intended function.
