After trying more than a half dozen book lights including many top rated, I can attest that this is by far the best book light available period. Used as a versatle clip on light that supports both battery and power cord opportunity I am able to use this light in all situations, on the go, traveling or enjoying a quiet evening of reading at home. The Mighty Bright XtraFlex2 Light by Mighty Bright has been my favorite book light over the years. I must have run through 5 in the last 10 years or so. I have never had a problem with the neck breaking or providing less than excellent light in any direction I want. I travel with it everywhere. I am a night bedtime reader and use it so I don't disturb my husbands sleep. Only draw back is changing batteries every 2 weeks or so.Customer Review: Great light

This is a really nice light. It clips well to the back of my kindle cover (when folded back). It's very bright, so going on one LED might make more sense if you want to avoid disturbing others nearby. I'm not sure why this is cheaper than the black Kindle-advertised light; it seems to be exactly the same as the black one, from reviews and pictures. I've used it as a mini desk lamp too. My HP laptop is a delight, but does not have a backlit keyboard. This little clip-on provides exactly the right amount of light for typing in a dim room. The cable is flexible. The design is elegant. It has two LED bulbs. One or both may be on. The switch is just above the bulbs and is easy to find by touch.
An AC adapter is available (may be purchased) if using the batteries alone is impractical.

Completely happy with the product. It gives out the perfect amount of light to read, but doesn't disturb the surrounding area. The only problem we have encountered is packing it, because the switch is very sensitive and gets hit in transit. So when you open your bag, the light has been on the whole time. But I guess removing the batteries while in transit would do the trick. The light itself is awesome.
