I have had the book light for a few weeks now and am very happy with the product. I love that I have two brightness options and have had no trouble seeing clearly to read in a very dark bedroom at night without having to move the light around while reading. I also like that although it is heavier than some other lights out there, which has not been a problem for me, it uses regular batteries. Ive had two of these and have bought numerous ones for friends and family. I love this light and it serves so many purposeses. The battery life is terrific and it is crazy bright! i use it for a night light, to read by, to work outside on the car. You name it, and it goes there. Perfect for power outages because it is so bright and lasts so long. Dont have to worry about burning a candle, much safer brighter and lasts longer. I have nothing bad to say about it. I needed a light for reading my Sony eReader Pocket Edition at night before retiring and couldn't find one bright enough. This certainly does the trick. It clips on the eReader cover snugly without slipping and doesn't make an indentation. The flexible arm is amazing and it provides a powerful light for such a little item. For anyone trying to find a light for their Sony e-Reader, this is the one for you. Believe me - I've tried quite a few before finding this little gem. Love this light. It's great for traveling, since batteries (I use the rechargeable kind) will last a long time, thanks to the LED light that doesn't take much energy. It's bright and makes reading easy. Good focus without the hotspots that you sometimes get in other, similar lights. I like to use it on the plane and have never had any complaints about disturbing the person next to me. I got one of these for my 1st generation Kindle. It does a great job. I love the dual leds, seems like they'll last forever. The goose neck stays where you put it and it weighs next to nothing when attached to the Kindle. Also stands well on its' own as a separate light source.
One last thing-this is identical to the black version that for some odd reason is $5 more. Unless you have a fetish for black objects go with the silver and save some clams.
