Vendor shipped quickly and item was packaged securely.
My Box included the 3 AAA batteries required to operate the lamp. This was a nice feature.
Because of the battery compartment, the lamp is a bit bulky for a paperback, but as long as you clamp off a few pages, it works well.
The switch toggles between Off, 1 light, and 2 light brightness and works easily.
The gooseneck is flexible, yet stiff enough to hold the light in the position you like and is long enough so that you can position it out of your sight line.
I found that the 1 LED setting was plenty for night time reading.
I have not had the light very long so I cannot attest to the battery life. There is a connector for an AC adapter which is sold separately.
Overall, I like this light a lot more than my previous wired light and would recommend it highly.

Before purchasing the Mighty Bright book light in silver, I wanted to know if it could clip to paperback books, which, after reading the reviews, I found that, yes, it can clip to paperback books. However, the main thing I wanted to know was if someone could use it without disturbing his or her partner trying to fall asleep. Based on the reviews, I found that no one had any complaints of this kind. This was a first-time purchase of a product like this for me. I bought it for my boyfriend because he likes to read in bed at night, while I'm trying to go to sleep. I'm so impressed with this product! He used it for the first time last night, and I was able to fall asleep without even knowing it was on or when he turned it off. For anyone who says they have to read in bed because they can't read in the room with distractions like the TV, computer, or video games, and YOU want some restful sleep, buy Mighty Bright!Customer Review: Excellent book light

I have used this booklight to read both regular paperbacks as well as the Amazon Kindle in a pitch black room while lying in bed. It works great. As another reviewer has noted, although there are two LEDs, one is more than sufficient for reading.
The light has a clip that securely and conveniently attaches to a paperback or the Kindle cover, and the gooseneck on the light can easily be adjusted to whatever angle you like. I get just the right coverage on the page, and unlike an incandescent light, this light is easy on the eyes.
The off/on button is conveniently located and by default starts with two LEDs, but with another quick click you can select just one, and then turn it off with another click. It's all very simple.
I have used several booklights in the past, and must say that for ease of use and quality of the light, this is the best one by far.

This portable reading light is an excellent product. It is low-priced, high quality and high performance. The light can be set at two brightness levels (one or two individual LED's on), and even the lower level is usually bright enough to read comfortably. I carry this in my attache for reading my textbooks in Starbucks and libraries, where overhead lighting can be dim or inconsistent. If the ambient light changes because of sunlight, it is easy to switch the light off, the on/off button is super easy to operate. The clamp is very strong but is shaped in a way that protects the book and pages, it doesn't leave any marks or indents on the book or paper. And the adjustable neck is very high quality, it adjusts to infinite positions and stays right where you bend it.
This is a truly great product and great value and I would buy it again if I needed another.

I like to read before going to sleep. After reading reviews on line, I decided to purchase this item. This is relatively small sized reading light with flex arm around 6 inches. When I opened the package, I was bit disappointed , maybe from the word "mighty" and the description that it can stand on its own has created image of little bigger lamp in my mind. After using for almost one month, I am quite satisfied with the lamp. The light quality is good, the switch is easy to reach, flex arm is easy to adjust and lamp does stand on its own. Only one thing I did not like is the spring tension in the clip is too high. makes it difficult to clip it to book. More difficult for old people to use. Also the manufcaturers could have made the flex arm by inch or so long, that could have helped too. All in all, worth its money.
