Customer Review: Great build; decent fan

I reviewed the Belkin F5L001-BLK Laptop Cooling Pad a while ago and have gotten another cooling pad since then, this time, one made by Microsoft.
The build is much, much better than the Belkin. It's not flimsy, it seems durable, and it's pretty easily positioned. It's pretty aesthetically pleasing as well.
On the other hand, I preferred the fan and air flow of the Belkin. Both of these cooling pads use the same concept of a single fan in the center. With the Belkin, I could place my hand around my laptop and feel the cool air around it. It isn't the same with the Microsoft cooling pad; I sometimes wonder if it's doing anything at all (although I'm sure it is).
I think that I would still recommend this cooling pad over the Belkin.
[EDIT]: After several days, I have to change my mind about this cooling pad's fan. It's better than I thought it was. You have to adjust the stand in the back of the pad and make sure it's actually "standing." I am now pretty satisfied with this product.
