Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Microsoft Sidewinder X6 Gaming Keyboard with USB PortCustomer Review: Excellent Gaming/Multimedia Keyboard Summary: 5 Stars
I've had many Logitech keyboards in the past and they worked very well. The G11 was my favorite and this one is kinda similar to that one only red backlighting and a black keyboard. This is definately a very nice gaming and multimedia keyboard with tons of macros which i can't even find things to use them for. But it works very well for my games and has a cool function called Cruise Control, you push a button and it pushes it automatically like on a car. Very cool. The knobs for sound and lighting are very convienient and the detachable keypad is awesome because I never used that and it frees up so much space.
Customer Review: More than expected Summary: 5 Stars
Not much to say. I'm not a pro geek and didn't have any specific expectations from this keyboard. I was surprised when I received it though, cause it has a lot more options than shown online. A whole lot of key shortcuts combined with macro records are very handy for gamers (I didn't mention I'm one of them). Detachable key pad is awesome and included backlight does exactly what it should, a great help overnight. Long and durable cable is another plus. Volume control is nothing new but it is something I've started to use since I bought X6 and I like it, especially at work :)
Customer Review: Good stuff Summary: 5 Stars
This keyboard is great. I switched from the G-15 to the sidewinder. I love it. Same as the mouse. Has greet feel, nice short key press, and the lighting is good. Its the only one I've seen that lights up behind the keys. I haven't looked into the macro settings, but its great for gaming control as it is. The flat stance (no legs at the front) is a little different, but not too hard to get used to. It gives it a stable, no moving around feeling. All in all, great keyboard, and very easy to use (drivers, set-up, etc.) It is microsoft afterall.
Customer Review: Wicked sick. Summary: 5 Stars
I just got this keyboard after being long overdue for an upgrade. I have to say that this keyboard easily makes my old one look like garbage. On my old keyboard, the "awsd" keys had all but disappeared. The keys on this one are clear with the option of backlighting, so it's impossible for any key to fade away. Also, this thing is pretty quiet. There are so many positives I could write about this keyboard, but that would make for an awfully long review. No negatives about this keyboard, especially while it's on sale. 5/5.
Customer Review: Microsoft SideWinder X6 Keyboard Summary: 5 Stars
Hello, the SideWinder X6 keyboard by Microsoft is great, it has a nice feel to the keys and make a light sound every time you press down the keys. The macro functionality is pretty good. Although, once you press a macro, you have to let it finish the macro to go onto the next one. So you must use one macro at a time. The removable number pad is great. It allows you to put it on either side of the keyboard or even leave it off. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and the SideWinder keyboard hasn't let me down so far.
