After my beloved MX1000 mouse died on me, I decided the Microsoft Optical Mouse I had sitting in a drawer was such a burden I needed a new mouse, bad.
Here comes the Sidewinder to save the day, its natural weight is pretty good, however I've loaded it with 3 of its 10g weights, and this mouse is great, smooth switching between DPI settings, the side buttons which I originally thought would be in the way, are actually well placed, I have yet to click them on accident. The scroll wheel is great also, while I am disappointed it was not a free wheel like the MX Revolution, It has a good feel to it and it is simple but not too much so to click the middle mouse button.
The included accessories housing/cable anchor makes this cordless mouse truly feel wireless.

Absolutely love this mouse. It is the perfect size for me and having the back/forward buttons on the same side has really helped me in everything (especially gaming). Being able to switch sensitivity on the fly is amazing and the screen on the side is a nice addition. I've had this for a over a year and have never had a single problem with it. It does get a little dirty with extended use, but I dont know a mouse that doesnt so thats not really an issue. The "games explorer" button is useless and you'll forget about it. The description talked about a "180 turn" button for FPS games but I haven't been able to get it to work so I just haven't used it. All in all its an amazing mouse that I got on sale. I would recommend this to everyone wanting a quality gaming mouse.Customer Review: Just Excelent

This mouse is awsome just bought it and tried it on BF2142 took me little time getting my fingers to adjust to its size but that was the smallest problem and the only one with the adjustable mouse speed put in to it i found it really easy to just swap trough them and make it easyer for when im in tanks and gunships also when im on foot the mouse has an excelent response time and the scrolling wheel feels great and is really soft i have little hands and man did i though at first that it was going to be a problem but after playing it for like 4 hours started making instant kills were the call of the day. well for me its pretty good and loved it also amazon responded really quick and shipped it even quicker thanxCustomer Review: When gaming and elegance meet in a mouse

I am here to say that when I got this mouse I was amazed at how much better it looked in person than in the picture online. I am very happy with this product and all the features that it has. There is one thing however that does not affect me at all but may affect you, DO NOT GET THIS MOUSE IF YOU HAVE SMALL OR PETITE HANDS. This mouse may be difficult to use the clickers with. I have big hands so this mouse is comfortable and easy to click with. I also think this mouse is for you if you want to be a gamer like me.
Other Note: Just off topic, if you're going to get a keyboard with this item then I suggest that you get the Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard these items go well together. =]

This mouse has a great balance between a really good gaming mouse and a price point that is not ridiculous. The 3 DPI settings are easily switched on the fly. The vertical thumb buttons are very well placed and have a good feel. The mouse is a good size for us large-handed people and has enough weights to make it comfortable for all. The only thing I would change for comfort would be to offset the wheel to the forward and to the left 1/8". It seems slightly un-natural but I am now use to it.
*Update* Still using the same mouse daily (normal use and about 6 hours a week gaming)and it is still working flawlessly. everything still feels tight. Even the wheel which gets heavy abuse.
