I'm running a Sony VAIO TR3A and an older Micron Desktop. I also have a Playstation 2 using the network with linksys wireless bridge. I was able to get it all set up and running on all three systems in about 2 hours. Ran into some problems with my laptop which MS support was able to help me with. So far I'm pleased with it and it's doing everything that I need. Tip: If you have a network bridge on your laptop, delete it, that was the problem with my SONY VAIO which would not let me connect to the internet.Customer Review: Easy Setup, Great Range and Performance

It took a few minutes to get this setup and working from my cable modem. Compared to my previous router (SMC 7004AWBR), this one has better range and supports UPnP - critical if you like to use MSN Messenger and the advanced features. Before trying this one I tried to get a Netgear model working and had no luck getting an IP address. After spending hours on the phone and trying everything, the Netgear rep told me to return it. If you are technically literate install it yourself, if you are not, have someone that is install it. This product is great for the money. What it comes down to is either you can use technical know how with common sense to figure out your installation or you will be whining like these babies. Obviously, they cannot write a manual with every possible setup scenario in it! Buy and enjoy your computer where you want to. I've read all the negative reviews and don't know quite what to make of it. I and several colleagues here at a major aerospace firm have been using this router for at least 2 years with no hitch. Installation was easy, connection both wireless and direct work flawlessly. This may all be a moot point now, but we who like this great working product just had to put our two cents in to defend a good and well thought out working router.Customer Review: Totally Dependable

I was petrified at the thought of disconnecting my existing modem and installing this unknown quantity. But the installation was a breeze. My DSL was back up within seconds. And the wireless adaptor for my daughters' computer was even easier to install. We had a wireless network up and running in half an hour. We don't notice any loss of speed in loading/streaming. As much as I hate to admit it, you can count on Microsoft!
