I bought the vx-3000 and I love it!. I decided to get one for my daughter who lives in Mexico. No problem, I thought. Well, it says on the bar code box that it can only be used in the U.S. & Canada. Hmmm...I asked three employees at the Best Buy in town and they all assured me that it would work fine. I was still apprehensive, so I called Microsoft and they said "Absolutely Not"! So, I am glad I did not purchase these online and have to return one..Customer Review: Great webcam with great features!

This webcam has good audio quality with a little bit of humming but the video quality doesn't compare. The video quality is very clear in the light, and if it's dark you can make it brighter. I took amazing pictures with this cam. If you download ManyCam from their site, you can get so many features and download more for your Microsoft Lifecam!! It's amazing!! Great webcam for the price and amazon has one of the lowest prices compared to stores!Customer Review: Great!!!

The item works fantastic! Just I am not too happy with the falst advertising. I was under the impression that when I bought it it would be new but the vcompany decided to lie. There is no way this is new the book for instructions were missing and the box was torn up to bits. Held together by tape. but the item work I highly receommend. at first it was it was total junk! image quality was horrible and didnt saw anyway to fix it... and then i saw this had MANUAL focus... you got to adjust the focus point manually... and it is very easy, just open a program in wich u can see your webcam, and spin the little ring around the lense until you get a sharp image...
decent webcam for for the price... and yeah i recomended it once you get the correct setup.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 13 year old sister who had been begging for a webcam. She installed it herself in no time at all and has been using it nonstop. Works well with Skype, even on our 9-year-old family desktop that is very slow and low on memory. Sound quality is good, picture is pretty clear. I'm surprised at how well it works and how easy it was to install. Very happy so far. Great purchase, well worth the $20.
