I thought this was the best web camera. I have read some bad reviews and I am not sure what kind of web cam everyone else is looking for but this camera certainly fits my needs. My sister and I chat back and forth from CA to NY and its so fun. We can play games against each other and see each other and it has fun interactive things you can send back and forth to each other and my kids LOVE it. Definitly a great purchase at a great price. The video quality is great, you can hear each other, see each other and play games and have fun...its perfect to connect with my family and very easy to use and install!!!Customer Review: Great webcam

This webcam was recommended to me by a friend. I was skeptical since I am not a computer person. However, I was surprised to find out that it was easy to install and use. I even got it working with both Windows Live and AOL IM so that I can talk to my Mac user friends. The microphone is great and so is the picture! The price in stores would be a lot higher than what Amazon has it listed for. I liked this so much I bought one for my brother so now I can webcam with him! He has had the same great experience with it. I am planning on buying one for my parents and my parents-in-law for Christmas. GREAT PRODUCT!Customer Review: Easy setup for Vista and XP

The LifeCam came with very good instructions and setup easily as per the instructions.
A friend of mine also got the same camera for her computer running XP and it setup in a breeze for her too. Mine is running on Vista Home Premium 64.
Camera picture quality is excellent but I do recommend having decent lighting around you or the picture will get grainy. It does have features built in for low lighting uses but they are limiting.
I use this camera with Google and Skype and it works great at both ends since my friend is using the same camera from her computer.

This webcam works great and the price from Amazon was very good. The full motion video isn't choppy like other webcams. When I'm on a video call, I frequently get asked what unit I have since it works so good. One person ran out and bought the same unit right after he called me!
Installation was easy and I mainly use it on Skype calls. It also works good in low light. I have found a lower price when electronic stores have some special sales, but the convenience of ordering online, receiving it at my door in a few days, and not having to drive all over to find one... was great.

For the holiday season I was searching the internet trying to find the web cam that was easy to set up, and cheap (but not cheaply made). My parents are fairly tech savvy, but their computers are a little on the older side. Microsofts LifeCam was the perfect choice because not only were my parents able to get the webcam up and running quickly, but it doesn't cause issues or lag in their older pc's and works just fine. We use MSN to chat and it's been so effortless that my mother loves it. It was the talk of the holidays and we don't feel so far away from each other anymore.
