I got a new computer that came with a very basic keyboard and no wrist rest. I loved my old Microsoft Multimedia keyboard but couldn't make it work on a USB port, even with an adapter, so I had to find something else. I tried to upgrade to the Microsoft Ergonomic 4000 model, but couldn't use it and had to return it. I then took the leap and got this one and it's even better than my old one. I really like the touch and feel of the keys and I like the various special functions, some of which I had before and others that are new for me. I highly recommend this keyboard for anyone who likes the usual straight-line layout. I rely heavily on the attached wrist rest to keep my hands and wrists in the right position and find it really makes for comfortable typing without injury or pain.Customer Review: Really Erognomic and NIce Price

I have always used logitech for my keyboards...so I was kind of skeptical about trying this one..but when I saw the price...I just couldnt resist...other logitechs at the time were much more pricey....so I tried this one...and I was really suprised...didnt know microsoft could make such good keyboards....I find it the perfect blend of ergonomics and functionality..and I should say performance...all the buttons and funcions you need..in all the right places..doesnt lose its performance from wear and tear...I have had this one for almost a year...use it like crazy for all sorts of things...including a lot of intensive gaming...which I think really put it to its test...I have been converted to microsoft for keyboards...give this one a try and you will see what Im talking about.Customer Review: GREAT keyboard!!

I really love this keyboard. Not only is it very comfortable for a touch-typist, but, unlike most other Microsoft keyboards, it puts where the keys belong. For example, the Insert/Delete/Home/End/PageUp/PageDown are exactly where they should be and where you expect them to be, unlike with many recent Microsoft and Logitech keyboards. The backspace key is large - in fact that's why I chose this keyboard over many other potential choices. You can also use this keyboard with a USB port or the good old PS/2 port, so it's flexible. The build quality is good, too. You don't need to install any driver to use this keyboard, but if you do you get additional functionalities with tose extra "multimedia" keys at the top (which I don't care for).Customer Review: Best typing experience I've ever had

This is utterly the best typing experience I have ever had with a keyboard. I previously used the same Logitech Media Elite keyboard for 7 or 8 years, and was worried about adjusting to a new board. I can honestly say that my WPM has gone up by 15, and my hands feel so much more comfortable using the detachable wrist rest. The angle of the keys and the resistance is absolutely perfect for typing quickly and accurately. It also isn't noisy, so I don't sound like a trainwreck when I'm pounding away on the thing. It's great for gaming, too - the included software lets me disable the left-side windows key so I don't accidentally knock myself out of a video game, which has always been a problem of mine.Customer Review: A great ergonomic and functional keyboard

Finally Microsoft has done something that pleases. This keyboard is great, the keys are nicely placed and nice to the touch. The extra function keys really make working the computer happen faster. The software that comes with it both for Mac OSX and Windows allows you to assign differen functions to the extra buttons on the keyboard even if you don't like the default reccommendations. I use it with my G5 running Tiger and control my iTunes from the keyoard keys, zoom into PDF documents with the keyboard slider, launch email, browser, calculator, applications and favorite folders, control volume, switch users and so on. An excellent keyboard and well worth the price. Highly reccommended A++++
