I was afraid when I got this thing in the mail, it would be impossible to set up, and not pick up a signal, as I tried a 3rd party adapter first.
Don't waste your time with third party stuff for this. The Microsoft adapter fit perfectly, hooked up quickly, and the on screen setup was tremendously easy. Withing 15 minutes I was online, playing games with a group.
Great purchase. Yes a bit pricey, but it works extremely well, and I have yet to loose a signal. My house is 1650 sq. feet, and my Router is in my office, last door on the right, and still, my signal is very strong! Very pleased.
