Puzzled by those who disliked it. The instructions are on the underside of the gadget, as well as the package, of course. Use only 2 very small drops; using too much will damage the disk (as it says in the instructions). Spin 15-20 times, and then wipe off any remaining haze with the included pad. I have been using this with well-used DVDs from Netflix, and very pleased with it. I have been looking for a second one to give as a gift, and in the process saw others that don't look nearly as good, at higher prices. I highly recommend this Memorex product.
