Again, this is a 5 STARS product. It does the trick. It seems people do not read the instructions and then give it a 1, 2, or 3 stars rating. But this product is great.
I own a Philips DVD player. I had so much trouble with it watching videos. It did the trick in 1 min.
I do recommend this product for DVD players... not data CD-ROM though...

This is an great product. It not only cleaned the unstable laser lens,but it also showed that the speaker system was not properly balanced. The whole process was fast and easy to perform.

You saved me $200 to replace my macbook superdrive. Long ago (just after the warranty expired), it stopped reading/writing CD-R and DVD-R media. Someone recommended this and it worked like a charm -- I put it in the drive, it spun around for a few seconds, spit out the disc, and now its good as new! Yipee!
