I own a Sony 2001 SCD775 CD/SACD Player. Until recently it would play any burned CD's perfectly. During the last several months, it would refuse to recognize burned cd's at all most of the time. This problem seemed to be dirt, as burned cd's are more difficult to read than regular cd's. This Memorex CD/DVD Laser Lens cleaner worked quickly and restored my CD player to perfect working condition for burned and regular CD's. Give this CD cleaner a shot--it's definitely worth the money!Customer Review: worked like a charm

I live in an older home, so it's often dusty. Add in smoke for fireplaces and over time DVD players can collect particles to mess with the super quality of DVD. This is easy to use and it really works. Had six teeny brushes that clean the heads. The program walked you through steps with very little responses from you, but also tests for things besides cleaning, like if you have you speakers hooked up to the proper channel.
I had no problems, worked as advertised.

I think this product works in older cars that have dust and crap issues. My 14 year old Lexus developed skipping and bumps that drove me crazy. I tried cleaning the music cd's but that didn't work. This Memorex disc, with a chickie giving the directions, solved the problems in a heartbeat. I have 2 cars, and will use it in the newer one soon. BTW, I think the negative reviews are simply people who have other serious problems with their cd radio.Customer Review: works great

I 've got a PS2 and is was playing like crap. not reading disks and skipping from the slightest blemish on a CD. so, I bought this Laser lens claener thinking that at the very wost it doesn't work and i'm only out a couple bucks. To my amazement it worked great! cleaned the lens off, went through the sound check (which I didn't need, but was cool to see anyway) and I was on my way to watch movies with no more skipping!! This is my second such product. It defintely works a lot better than the first. On at least three occasions it has returned non-working CD or DVD players to working condition that either weren't working at all, or which were skipping so much as to be mostly worthless. So it is definitely worth the price. I have no idea yet as to how long this cleaner will last or you you tell when it is worn out, but it was definitely worth the price.
