If you don't try to burn these at 8x, they are awesome. I've burned 20 of the 50 pack that I purchased here on Amazon. 19 have burned without a hitch. The one that failed, I tried burning at 8x tonight. Sure, it may take 40 minutes to burn an entire disk, but considering what you are using them for, it is recommended to burn at the lowest speed in every guide online.
BURN SLOW! I hate to have to repeat it again, but so many people are giving these bad reviews when they are great disks. I used Verbatim exclusively until I found these on here for something like 70 cents a disk as opposed to 1.50 for Verbatim. Burn them at 1 or 2.4x and you'll be fine.

This dvd dl disc are great and most of the people if not all that give it a bad review don't know what their talking about...Depending on what dvd drive you use with these cds will likely seek drastic results.I used a lg external dvd drive that wouldnt even read the discs..So I used the built in dvd drive I have which im not sure what brand it is but im sure it isnt lg since I've read issues with lg drives and memorex discs.So if you wanna review this dvd disc maybe you should research what youre reviewing before giving it a 1 or 2 star...verbatim is overated..also i use these with my 360 games and have no problems at all fyi hope this helps someone outCustomer Review: OK Dual Layer DVDs for a Great Price!

At this time, all one can do is review the store as the quality of the Memorex DVDs are unknown. The store was great. Prompt shipping like it came directly from Amazon. Had no problems whatsoever in that regard. SO FAR I haven't had any problems with the DVDs either. I don't know how long they are going to last but I know none of them failed on me while burning or playing just yet. I know several people who also have purchased this brand as well with no hitches. The only caveat is that we all have newer computers or DVD players which handle poor quality DVDs well. I would buy this product again as the other alternatives cannot compete on price.Customer Review: Memorex comment

I like memorex,I been use it since almost coming to the market the blank DVD's,Memorex was one of mine first choices,first because the low price compare to others brands,and second,When I bought my third computer,and the dvd recorder fail to burned my dvds, I took my computer to the store where I bougth it,they replace it with a memorex dvd burner,since then I fell in love with the brand, I still had the same computer since then and the same memorex in the computer still working ,I built another computer for Me and the dvd burner is another memorex.my suggest for those who are looking for a good dvd brand I suggest MEMOREX!!!!!!!Customer Review: In these times, best value!

I was very hesitant on whether to purchase this item (typically I've heard that Memorex and TDK media are not excellent). There have also been bad reviews about this product. The low price got me interested so I went ahead and bought these DVD's. So far, I am very satisfied and haven't had any bad coasters and I use an Emprex DVD burner, not a highly expensive name brand. To wrap it up, the price is right and it burns DVD's smoothly (just keep it at a lower speed than 8X, maybe 4 or even 2.5). When I run out, I will definately look for this deal again! Give these a try, I am glad I did!
