My CD player won't even recognize these CDs. I tried two from the top, one from the middle, one from the very bottom. Each time the computer tells me to insert a blank CD, even though that's what I've just done. I fished out an old blank TDK CD with the same technical specs. The computer cheerfully copied my files onto it.
I remember back in the 80s when I swore off Memorex because their blank cassettes always got stuck reels. Once that happened, the car deck's auto-reverse just kept merrily switching back and forth, back and forth. But hey, it's been 20 years and there's nothing on a blank CD that can get stuck, right?
Never again. Never ever again. I don't care what Memorex makes next or how little they charge for it. This is a company with no quality control. They need to go out of business.
