I have read reviews of people complaining about their recordings on this media no longer working after a year. In my opinion different burners give different results on the same media. I have seen that with DVD discs and I imagine the same applies to BD discs. I have been happily using a Pioneer 205BK and never had a single coaster when it comes to BD-R media. I used one to create a DVD of photos, video, and music from a trip I took. I used Pinnacle Studio 14 and my new Bluray burner, which is built in to my computer. AMAZING quality and Dolby 5.1 sound rendering means I am now in the amateur movie business! I've only done it once so far, but I am totally happy with how it turned out, and my next trip is coming up in a few weeks!Customer Review: Works like a dream

What can I say? The discs live up to their standard- they've very well-constructed (and even feel more solid and better constructed than say, Memorex DVDs) and work like a charm. This is my first excursion into the world of BluRay recording and it was without flaw or difficulty, because these discs are flawless. 15 discs, 15 wonderful projects that are all perfect. first thing i noticed was how thick the discs feel... i thought that all blu ray disc must feel this way, but i compared them to any original blu ray movie and this feel like tough quality
i bought an (unknown brand) burner and tried it with these and verbatim. These work flawlessly! No coasters yet(and at $3, i hope there'll be no coasters ever!)
