For 10 bucks you can't go wrong. Purchased three of these a couple months ago and there have been no problems whatsoever. With all products you will receive random defective items, so the very few negative reviews probably reflect that
If you install the cable and do not have to connect and reconnect devices, this product should just keep working as with all patch cables. Do not bend any cable excessively and do not unplug it by pulling on the cable, use the connector end. Seems logical but I've witnessed allot of people disconnecting things improperly whether it be extension cords or patch cables
Cable is certified at V1.3 cat 2 so there should be no 1080P transmission problems at all. As with all cables, choose the shortest length possible
