I have purchased several cable products from Mediabridge (HDMI and Optical). The construction quality is outstanding and the audio/video quality is superb. I especially like the nylon covered cables...they remind me of the orignal Xbox component cables I bought years ago. I have owned these cables for over 6 months and have had no problems with them. The price is great and the shipping was FAST...and always arrived BEFORE the estimated arrival date. Don't waste your money on Monster Cables! A friend of mine bought a new Samsung 52" LCD (upon my recommendation) and was conned into buying an $80 HDMI cable with his TV. I told him to take it back and to order a Mediabridge HDMI 1.3b certified cable. He saved over $60! He LOVES his cables and won't go anywhere else to buy them. I am an Audio/Video enthusiast. I bought my first Onkyo CD changer and Onkyo Theater receiver in 1990. I still have them and they work great (I also have an Onkyo THX receiver). I believe in buying the best on the market for a reasonable price. These Mediabridge cables are not only the best on the market, they are a GREAT PRICE!

First of all, a little story about my entry into the HDMI world.
When we first got a Vizio HD TV and I had no idea that my Tivo box needed a HDMI connection, I asked my wife to pick up a HDMI cable when she was out. Of course she chose Best Buy and ended up buying an 80 dollar Monster cable.
Before I ordered two of these mediabridge cables I did some research into all the "Are monster cables really worth the price?" arguments I see all over the net and decided to connect my new Blu Ray player to our HD-TV using the expensive monster cable we had laying around. Image quality was flawless.
So after reading into how Monster is overpriced, I got two of these cables. One coming out of the Blu Ray into the receiver. Then the receiver to the TV.
The image quality was EXACTLY the same. Yes this 10 buck cable looked JUST as good as the 80 dollar monster cable. I wouldn't advise buying cheaper though [Just take a look at the photo above of the shielding on the mediabridge and other generic HDMI cables]
Thoroughly recommend. Does the job flawlessly.

Now I'm no audio/video junkie. I'm probably like 95% of the people on here. I bought a brand spanking new fancy hdtv and a nice blu ray player to go along with my surround sound and hdtv cable box. The hdmi cable that came with my cable box was horrific. I went out and spent $150 on 3 monster hdmi cables....they all stunk. I was in hdtv hell!!!
Then, I came across this product and read the reviews...saw the price...stared at the price...read the reviews....stared at the price a little more and figured, "Why not..."
Let me tell you. I'm now in HDTV / HDMI heaven. My picture quality couldn't be better. My brother-in-law came over tonight and marveled at my picture clarity. When I told him about these cables and the price, he immediately used my laptop and ordered 5 of these on the spot.
DO NOT DOUBT THE PRICE. This product is quality. The construction and feel of them are, I think, better than anything that costs 5x as much.
Do yourself a huge favor. If you're like me and just want your fancy hdtv to have images like a fancy hdtv should, get these cables.

I purchased two Mediabridge Ultra Series - 6ft High Speed HDMI Cable - Version 1.3 Category 2 Certified - 1080p. I got one to hook up my Panasonic Blu-Ray and another to hook up my HD DVR Satellite receiver. I have a 600 Hz, 50 inch 1080P Panasonic Plasma with a 2,000,000:1 Dynamic/40,000:1 Contrast ratio. The picture is amazing in both low and high speed scenes, day and night. These are some High End quality cables! And the price they are offered for is incredible. Don't empty your wallet on Monster cables, buy these. They're sure to please. Everyone who has seen my T.V. has said "the picture is amazing, it's like you're right there". I use them for video only as I use Digital Optical cables for audio. My 7.1 channel High current receiver is about four or five years old and is incompatible with HDMI. The combination is great though, through my BOSE Direct Reflect swivel Jewel cube Surround speakers. I'm a picky consumer and I've been using these cables for about a month. If you expect excellence, but look for deals like I do, buy these HDMI's. You won't regret it. I recently posted a one star rating for A Days Tech seller. For the simple reason that my order had not arrived as yet. After a few weeks I got frustrated. Once the seller found my one star rating and comments he contacted me. Well I have to say that I was wrong 200%. This seller found out and I comfirmed it that the US Postal Service had placed on my order an International classification due to my location the US Virgin Islands. This action from the post office created the problem for this seller and me. Therefore I want to publicly apologize to A Days Tech for my unjust rating.
