Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Mediabridge Ultra Series - High Speed HDMI Cable with Ethernet - (10 Feet) - Category 2 Certified - Supports 3D & Audio Return Channel [Latest HDMI Version Available]Customer Review: Hoped for the best and got it. Summary: 5 Stars
Cables are confusing. We're all conditioned to believe that higher $ equals better quality. So I was concerned about plunking down thousands on a Sony 52 HD W series with a nice receiver and a surround system of Def Tech speakers - and then scrimping on the cables. But I read enough reviews - here and other sites - that suggested price wasn't everything. I couldn't be happier with these Mediabridge HDMI cables (using three right now). They feel substantial and connect solidly, but most importantly, the picture and sound are pristine for a small fraction of the price of heavily promoted brands. I did go with a Monster for the subwoofer cable, but only because I found a great price on it. Yeah, it would be nice if these locked in place somehow, but that hasn't been a problem so far. Only slight negative - the shorter cables (3ft) would have been ideal but they cost more than the 6 ft. I doubt that's a Mediabridge issue as much as a seller issue though.
Customer Review: Top notch HDMI, can't beat the price! Summary: 5 Stars
Tired of going to Best Buy or other electronic stores only to see overpriced Monster and Rocketfish HDMI cables? Look no further, this is a category 2 version 1.3 which is pretty much the most important aspect of purchasing an HDMI cable. Monsters and Rocketfish might have some nice packaging and fancy advertising on the package, but that's about all there is to it. This cable does the EXACT SAME THING for a price thats 75% lower than the others. Yes, I know for many this may be hard to believe but do your homework and look up HDMI articles, how to purchase the right cable, and you'll find that it is absolutely pointless to spend more $80, $90, etc... on an HDMI cable unless it comes with a free DVD player haha! Have no doubts whatsoever that you'll be happy when you install this cable. I did side by side test of the Mediabridge, Rocketfish and Monster cables, every single one performed the same and guess which one was the best value, MEDIABRIDGE!
Customer Review: High Quality without the High Price Summary: 5 Stars
Mediabridge cables always seem to have a high level of quality than the other brands I explore. They're sturdy, thick cables that I think would be very difficult to damage, and I have never had a problem with shoddy connections. Don't fool yourself into thinking that you need to spend much more than a dollar per foot of high quality HDMI cable. Buying a $50-$200 cable isn't going to get you any better results than this thing. Just be sure that when you're buying a cable, the exact model is certified for whichever HDMI spec you desire. If a company has a 3' cable certified for 1.4, it doesn't necessarily mean their 50' cable in the same line is certified for that distance, even if they claim it is. This specific cable does exactly what I need it to do. I'm just sending video from my PS3 to my TV, and the picture is beautiful. I would highly recommend Mediabridge products. It's top quality stuff that won't empty your wallet.
Customer Review: Great HDMI cables at a great price! Summary: 5 Stars
We recently purchased one of the new LED televisions and wanted a good HDMI connection to our PS3, cable signal and home theater receiver. I was in a hurry to get HDMI cables because our new tv was being delivered the next afternoon. I went online and couldn't believe the prices were so reasonable at Mediabridge so I was a little skeptical. I decided to go to our local national chain electronics store and saw that HDMI cables are over $90 a piece. That's crazy! I decided to take my chances and try Mediabridge, thinking I could send them back if I wasn't satisfied with the signal. I bought three HDMI cables and had them overnighted all for under $55. The television looks GREAT and I'm totally satisfied. If you're skeptical, go to CNET.com and watch the video on HDMI cables. There's absolutely no difference as long as you buy comparable type cables. Don't throw your money away, order HDMI cables from Mediabridge.
Customer Review: Great cable - awesome price Summary: 5 Stars
Having read many reviews and articles on HDTV and HDMI cables I decided to buy 2 of these 10ft cables ( cause you never know when that extra footage will come in handy ) and though this is the first time I've used HDMI, I think these cables are great. Very sturdy and they have nice connectors.
I am using them with the Samsung HL61A750 61-Inch 1080p LED Powered DLP and a Sony PS3 and Wow ! The picture is Awesome !
Don't waste your money buying those $100 plus dollar cables, the cables from Mediabridge are just as good for Far less.
I ordered them Friday afternoon and paid 6.99 / per item for the express shipping and they were there Saturday morning. Total price was 37.96 and the cheapest cable I found locally was $27.99 and for the $10 more these cables are I'm sure far better than the ones I saw in the local retail store -- the local ones looked cheap.
