Hey folks, this cable is awesome. I needed a new PC Monitor but monitors are way to expensive. I decided to purchase a 26" Samsung HD LCD TV with hdmi inputs, instead. A good 22in monitor that can only be used with a PC was 300+. A 26in samsung or any other top brand HDTV with HDMIs is 400+ but under 500. The tv performs the same or even better than a PC monitor.
These cables are flawless, flawless, flawless, and very affordable. I almost made the mistake of purchasing some 6" philips version a cables for 50 bucks at a local electionics store. I won't say the name, take your pick, it really doesn't matter. I mean these cable cost 50 and up. I've even seen some for 120 bucks. Are they crazy? Media Bridge cables perform equally or better than monster, philips, sony, etc. Thanks Amazon and Media Bridge for bringing quality AFFORDABLE products to the average consumer.
To use this type of a connection for a PC you need a dvi to hdmi connector that fits on your pc's video card and of course these wonderful cables.

Purchased a set of these 10ft cables from Amazon/Mediabridge and they arrived the same week. Popped the protective caps off each cable and connected the U-verse box to the THX home theater system, then used the second cable to connect the THX to the HDTV.
Both cables worked perfectly and cost less than $25.00! No additional audio/video cables were needed - since both digital audio and video ride the same cable. I checked for noise/interference by placing the HDMI cable close to the TVs power cable. No change on HDNet in the signals (audio/video) quality, so I tie wrapped them together. Shielding was not an issue with these cables.
You can compare and pay a lot more for a shorter HDMI cable from the big box stores, but you will not be able to see or hear a difference in quality. These cables are well constructed and all that is needed to carry digital signals (1's and 0's) between devices.
As I continue to install HDTVs, I will continue to order these Mediabridge cables!!

The only wish I had was they'd make these in 3' lengths as well. I don't have all of my electronics spread out so the furthest from one item to another is at best 2-3 feet so I wish I could have bought 2, 3-foot cables and one 6-foot...oh well.
Their performance? Well, there was only one quirk. I was watching tv and all of a sudden I get a message on the screen saying the cable didn't have the right encryption or something of that nature and the screen went black. I switched cables and all was fine, switched back and the problem was gone. I'm still using the first cable and have yet to get the problem so I'm thinking I just didn't have it plugged in all the way.
It's a great price and highly recommended. I had to stop a couple people in a store from buying the insanely-priced Monster cable...one of the biggest scams out there. I tell everyone I can to avoid those like the plague unless you like to brag about how much you paid for your cables.

I have been using this Mediabridge Ultra Series - 10ft High Speed HDMI Cable every day for about 3 weeks now. It's working very good so far. It seems to be made well from what I can see. I read some of the lower ratings for this product but I figure those people just got a lemmon for a cable.
This cable replaced a 3 foot Monster cable from Best-Buy. I moved the LCD and needed a longer cable to run inside the wall. This new cable seems to be about the same thickness, strength & quality as the Monster cable.
I recieved the cable just a few days after I placed the order.
If I have any problems with this cable, I will be back to make changes to this rating.
UPDATE 8/04/10 --- Still working great. Not a single problem with this cable.
UPDATE 3/06/11--- Still working great. Not a single problem with this cable. I don't expect any problems in the future. Still gives excellent picture quality on my 52" 1080p HDTV.

This cable went above and beyond my expectations. I used this on my PS3 to my 32 inch Samsung LCD and it looks absolutely phenomenal. I love it. I honestly didn't expect HDMI to be this big of a difference at all, but the quality went above and beyond everything I ever expected. I thought my TV was only capable of 720 and I plugged it in and it brought up 1080i so I'm extremely pleased. The only discrepancy I had against it was for some reason it only fit into one of my two HDMI ports. It could be just that one was used more than the other but one port only worked when I wiggled it around a little. I plugged it into the other slot and it has worked perfectly since then. For the money, don't waste your money on the Monster cables. I constantly hear just as many (if not MORE) mixed reviews on those cables as any of the off-brands. This is literally as high-quality as it gets for a non-name-brand product. VERY nice, HIGHLY recommended. WILL buy MediaBridge again :)
