Customer Review: Beats the $120 Monster cable I wasted money on!
Summary: 5 Stars

So I did an experiment. I bought a tv and a blu ray player at a local electronics store and did not want to wait for the HDMI cable to come in the mail before I could use my new high def devices. I decided I would spend money on the most expensive cable in the store which was a Monster 6ft HDMI for 120.00 (I had no intention of keeping it as I knew I would order a cheaper one online as soon as I got home) So I hooked my new devices up with my 120 dollar cable and went online to order this one. In the meantime I watched several Blu Rays with the Monster Cable and as soon as I received this cable I swapped it out with the Monster. NO DIFFERENCE!!! You are absurd to spend extra money on a cable that claims to increase your picture quality. High definition is just 1's and 0's people! as long as the information is transferred correctly from one device to another you don't need anything else. I returned the Monster cable and have been using this cable for about 7 months now with flawless reception!

Note: the only time you would need "gold" shielding or whatever Monster claims is if you were running 40+ feet of cable through walls etc.....don't waste your money on these high dollar cables!

Customer Review: Don't Ever Pay More For An HDMI Cable
Summary: 5 Stars

As previous reviewers have mentioned, this is a Category 2 HDMI cable, which means it can transmit a signal in 1080p over a decent distance. This also means that it can carry a 3D signal. I haven't yet tested it with 3D, but if the cable got the full certification, I'm sure it's great.

The best part of this cable is the price. You'd be hard-pressed to find such good quality for anything near as good a price.

Reasons to buy this over other cables on Amazon. Technically speaking, because HDMI is a digital signal, it is not subject to electrical interference like VGA cables. However, the build-up of static electricity in the connections of some cables of lesser quality can cause brief interruptions of picture. This cable's full shielding prevent this. Also, generally speaking, the more you pay for a cable, to a certain point, the better the fit. This cable fits snugly in all of the ports I've used it on.

These reasons make this product, to this reviewer, the ideal HDMI cable. Monster would try to sell you a cable that you need to take out a small mortgage to afford. This cable does everything the Monster Cable does but at 1/10th the price.

Customer Review: HDMI cable testing with 3D material reviewed, bottom line save your money....
Summary: 5 Stars

I recently purchased the Samsung C8000 series 3D Plasma TV with the Samsung C6800 3D Blue-Ray player and was initially pressured to purchase the best HDMI cables available. I purchased the recommended cables ($130 each) and got everything working and looking Great. Then as an experiment I went on-line and purchased a pair of the Mediabridge Ultra Series High speed HDMI cables. These were not the cheapest HDMI cables available on-line but looked like good quality HDMI connectors and cable. The cost for these cables were approximately $15.00 dollars each for the 2M length.

I then conducted a series of tests with Blue-Ray material in both 3D and 2D formats. There were no differences in video or audio that my family could see or hear. We then viewed various HD broadcasts, again looking for artifacts or image quality differences between the cables. We were not able to see any difference between a $130 dollar cable and a $15 dollar cable and promptly returned the $130 cables.

My advice, save your money the Mediabridge Ultra Series High Speed HDMI cables are good quality cables that perform like $130 dollar cables.

Customer Review: High Quality Cable
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought 2 cables. One was 6 ft and one was 10 ft. One is used for xbox360 and the other is used for an AV connection to my Samsung HD 1080 LCD.

I'm very pleased to say they are doing a great job. They handle the data very well. The output is great with respect to color, clarity and the sound is as good as it gets, superb! They are built with high quality parts and has a real durable feel and look to them. I wouldn't settle for anything less when it comes to my home theatre and surround sound system.

I'd easily pay 4 to 5 times as much as I did if I bought this quality from a retail store. The super stores, can't even match these. I know, I looked!

I will repurchase if I need another set. NOTE: The customer service reviews had a lot of influence on my decision to purchase as well. Very high quality control, and the response by customer service when a bad cable was found was excellent. They shipped replacements immediately...no questions asked. (though both my cables have no problems at all).

Customer Review: Mediabridge 10ft hdmi cable ver.1.3b
Summary: 5 Stars

This 10ft hdmi cable from Mediabridge performed perfectly. I'm using it with a Samsung LN46B650, a Pioneer Vsx-918v-k receiver, An Asus media pc based on the M3n78-vm motherboard with HDMI out, and a Samsung Bluray player. All of these cables never missed a beat. They all have audio and video running through them. The switcher on the Pioneer works perfectly. Full 1080p with no problems. From my experience I would guess people that have problems with these cables may be from user error or product incompatability. I mean, I know that occasionally a massed produced product is just bad you can't change that, but I bought 6 of these and everyone of them worked perfectly and has never failed ater months of use. If you do the research on your products you will find certain cables that don't work with your equipment. The version 1.3a vs 1.3b thing just means these cables passed tighter specifications and tolerances than the 1.3a cables. This means they don't perform differently than the 1.3a cables they are just built to tighter specifications.
