Previously I had a mess of wires behind my old TV. The TV stuck out from the wall and if you walked into the kitchen and turned your head to the left at the doorway all you could see was a mass of wires in a big pile on the floor behind the entertainment center. I hated it. I put up a curio cabinet to try and hide the mess, and then had to buy a collection of something to put in the curio just to have the excuse to have the curio. Oh well. Now! I have three cords two, HDMI cords and a audio cord. What a dream come true.
I also purchased the TV and the enterainment unit that holds the TV from Amazon.
The Samsung LED TV is the bomb. It was shipped very timely and it had no problems the Kathy Ireland entertainment center is wonderful too. Just what I wanted I couldn't ask for any better. I could not find as good a deal in my community and did not pay any shipping charges. What a great savings and I can always count on Amazon's promise. Can not say enough good words about their orders and delivery.

Mediabridge Toslink CablesThe Toslink optical audio connection carries a digital audio stream using a fiber-optic cable. This Mediabridge Toslink Cable is perfect for whenever you need to connect audio devices, such as a CD or DVD players to a receiver or preamplifier.
In home-theater applications, you can use the Toslink connection to send a Dolby Digital or DTS soundtrack to an audio processor or A/V receiver for surround-sound decoding.
Since Toslink uses fiber-optic cable, it is free from distortion caused by electrical or magnetic interference that an electrical cable would incur. The result is an audio signal that is purer, as well as truer to the original recording.
