I bought this so my wife could use her iPod and Garmin GPS at the same time. It fits very snugly into the cigarette lighter jack in her car, and we've never had any problems with fit or functionality.
Just one word of caution - this thing is pretty big. The gearshift in her car isn't far from the end of the adapter once it is plugged in and then the electronics aren't plugged into it. Give some serious consideration to how much space you have down there before buying this (the swivel does help some, if you have room horizontally but not vertically)

I bought this for a car trip lasting 13 hours. It worked great. Had 2 portable DVD players attached. I would have given it a 5 star but it came out of the car socket. It just seemed to come loose from vibrations or something, then if we just barely hit it, it would pop out. Only happened about 4 times but it was still a problem. Maybe mine is just out of the ordinary. Worked as promised. Very good value, too. Received it within a week. I recommend this product.Customer Review: Works good!

Works good on my '07 Subaru Impreza, but did not fit my girlfriend's '99 civic or my cousin's '08 Acura Rdx. Other than that, the adjust ability of the plug in is great, so you can move it away from the climate controls if needed. Just beware of fitment issues.Customer Review: Dual Auto Power Adapter

This adapter functions well and is good quality. The only draw back is limited acceptablity when the car's outlet is in the console in front of a manual stick shift as on my 2002 VW Jetta. Product is good, but design is poor. This one does not fit into my DC outlet - adapter's plug is too wide. Please be careful when ordering or be prepared to send this one back.
