I have two reptiles, a boa and a gecko. For both of these guys I have to keep an eye on the temp's on both sides of the tank and the humidity. this product is absolutely perfect for doing that. The screen is large enough that I can read it clearly from across the room. It has different settings, one for viewing the time inside temp and humidity, the one I use shows inside and outside temp's and humidity, and I think there are like 2 or 3 more. Both of mine worked right out of the box (with batteries of course). The best feature is the large display numbers and light background. Temp readings may be just a point or two off but I haven't found one yet that reads to the precise temp. Just be sure to set the outdoor sensor in good location and don't set the indoor part near a window, heat, etc. This one is the best we've used. Great for (shall I say) older persons who may not like one that's the size of a postage stamp. I was looking to buy a digital thermometer for my toddler's room, I did a lot of research and found the features of this thermometer matched my criteria. Features:
- Independent indoor and outdoor sensor.
- Indoor Humidity sensor
- Clock.
So far I have changed the battery only once, it lasts a long time (given you use a brand name alkaline), I would buy this again if I needed another thermometer for other room. Highly recommend it!

Got this as a Christmas Gift for my mother. She loves it! Nice big lettering so that she can read it. It displays both the inside and outside temp. at the same time. Her old one had a button to push to switch between the two! It does have the wire for the outside temp, but I have found that with the wired thermometers they tend to be more accurate and last A LOT longer than thier wireless counterparts! Highly recommend and its inexpensive too!Customer Review: works great

This indoor/outdoor thermometer is good. It replaced a smaller one I had, which worked fine, but was small, and I had to get very close to read the numbers. The Timex thermometer is about the size of an I-phone and the numbers are large enough that I can see them from the doorway. I put it in the kitchen window. I like it so much, I'm going to order one for a friend.
