Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Timex TX1003 10.62-Inch Tube ThermometerCustomer Review: sturdy and reliable Summary: 5 Stars
I have 4 of these thermometers - in the greenhouse, outside nailed to a fence post, in a kitchen window where seedlings start and herbs winter over, and the 4th nailed outside the kitchen window - about 6 inches from the window where I've no problem reading the red line of mercury from inside the house. The one nailed to the post has blown off and fallen to the ground several times but no damage and still works like a charm. Great thermometers, great bargain.
