I recently got the newest MacBook released in November 2007, and I wanted to make sure I could keep it in the best possible condition. So I immediately made sure I got one of the Marware Protection Packs so I could stylishly cover the wrist rest area which has been plagued on previous models as discoloring sometimes or having the edges peel. Even though the problem has been said to be fixed, I wanted to make sure I was covered with extra protection. The wrist pad even adds a bit of extra comfort instead of resting your hands and wrist directly onto the hard ABS/Plastic casing. The added "keyboard cover" which is made of microfiber also doubles as a screen cleaner, which is my sole use for it as I also purchased a nice iSkin keyboard protector as well to keep hair and dust from entering the inside of the case.

The Protection Pack consists of a Wrist Rest and a Keyboard Cover. The wrist rest is a slip of PVC leather designed to prevent scratches and provide a smooth, padded work surface. The non-permanent special adhesive allows for effortless complete and clean removal. The dual-purpose Keyboard Cover is made of microfiber, the same material used for lens cloths.
