This RiteAV - 3.5mm to RCA Stereo Female Cable - 6 inch is well suited to TV speaker sound. I plugged it into the LINE OUT of my computer, and then by AV patch cords to a Game Switch, and then to the TV audio input. It works fine in this application. For High Fidelity I would use an all metal shielded splitter (which costs much more) Monster MCL MSTMINI 2FR Stereo Female RCA to 1/8 Stereo Cable Adapter or special cables (such as Monster, also a lot more money) Monster THXIMINI8 THX Certified 1/8 Stereo to Stereo RCA Cable Adapter and these would be to a high end audio receiver, or amplifier with Very good Polk Audio R 50 - Left / right channel speakers - 2-way - black/wood (or better) Speakers.
