This keyboard feels very comfortable, especially if you are at the computer for hours at a time and type a lot. I immediately found that I was typing a bit faster because they keys are so quick to press and respond.
I like this over the Apple white keyboard because you don't see all the dirt and stuff that gets inside of the keyboard, the Function keys are separated in 4's (makes them easier to quickly find without looking) and the keys don't have that sharp, pointed edge all the way around them.
The volume and eject keys are conveniently in the same place as on the Apple keyboard.
The keys are also much quieter than most keyboards that I have used in the past.
Very comfortable and well worth the price!

The Macally IceKey is one of the finest keyboards I've ever used. With very little Mac-dedicated keyboards on the market, this one is definitely one of the best, better than Apple's own keyboard!
The scissor switches are a big plus, as you can feel the keys actually pressed into the board, rather than second-guessing if you've pressed it or not (like membrane-based keyboards). I've used plenty of membrane keyboards at school, and all of them started to hurt my hands after 30 minutes on them. Not to mention they all stick and are hard to press down after several months of constant use.
Bottom line: if you want a great Mac keyboard at a good price, you can't go wrong with the IceKey!

This is a great keyboard--much better than the original Mac keyboard that it replaced. The keys have a nice easy action that involves much less travel than the original coupled with nice feedback. I've been using Macs for nearly 15 years and have used a number of original and third party keyboards. This one is by far the best I have encountered.
In addition, the USB cable is nice and long compared to the Mac keyboard. It does have a slightly larger footprint the newest mac usb keyboard, but that is not a problem for me. While it works "plug and play," full functionality requires an install from the provided CD.
I highly recommend this keyboard!

I type all day and was looking for a keyboard that would double on a Mac and Windows machine, and this is really fine. Extremely light and fast response, nice heavy base. I got a rare chance to test a keyboard dealer's customer & repair service and was very impressed. The keys use a sort of suspension mechanism, with some little plastic 'forks', and the '1' key along the top started binding within a month or so. They gave me an RMA number and I sent it back and within 2 weeks they sent me what appeared to be a brand new keyboard, don't know if this fixed my old one themselves or what, but all keys work fine and no trouble at all since then. This keyboard is awesome. I needed a very low profile keyboard to make my hands feel better and this does the trick. I use Windows 2000 Pro and it was recognized right after plugging it in. The only drawback is that the keys are designed for a Mac and so it's missing PRNTSCRN & INSERT (and probably something else I cannot remember). This isn't a big issue but might make taking screenshots more difficult. Besides that, it looks great, feels great, and works well. If you've found that you like to rest your whole arm on the desk when typing (as I do) this keyboard is for you as your hands will be only slightly elevated and still in a relaxed position. Enjoy!
