Customer Review: Timesaver if you constantly lose things...

This is a real timesaver for me. Every morning I would waste 10 minutes searching for my stupid zippered neoprene cover. I use my computer everywhere in the house and trying to locate where I last set the neoprene cover down was a real hassle for me.
I also open/close my macbook repeatedly as I move around between classes. When class is over, I normally have to take out the zippered cover, place my computer in it, zip it back up, then load in my backpack. This may not seem like an extra effort, but in a large classroom setting, taking an extra 10-15 seconds to pack up earns you impatient looks from other students as they wait for you to get your stuff out of the small aisle so they can get by.
This cover has replaced my neoprene zippered cover. The leather provides a nice solid grip so taking it out of the laptop sleeve in my backpack is way easier. I simply take my macbook out, open it up and ta-da! I'm ready to take notes. When class is over, I click save, snap my macbook close, drop it in my backpack and I'm ready to leave. No more impatient looks from my fellow students.
The cover is completely open in the back. There has been no significant increase in heating for me. In fact, I think the leather is more breathable than a hard plastic case and even though its very hard and sturdy, its still softer than a hard plastic case and I feel that its just as protective as my neoprene case was.
I would also like to add that it fit my notebook perfectly. Each piece snapped on and I'm kind of in awe that an off-brand item fit my computer so well. It didn't add significantly to the thickness or weight of my computer, its no different than my old zippered case.
Overall, this is a great product and I couldn't be happier with the design and quality. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with a macbook.
