This is a very thoughtfully designed device for the price. Using the cup holder is brilliant! It makes for a very stable and convenient place to keep your I-Pod (at least in our car). I tried 3 different FM transmitting stations for my ipod before I found one that would work right. Others had so much static it was ridiculous. This one has a few pre-set stations which is a God send if I do need to change stations. It also fit my ipod touch when I replaced my 8gb ipod. This is an inexpensive gem for docking ipod portably to your older, no external option car stereo. It secures, nicely proximate to the general local of the dash and settles into production a strong FM signal for great sound. Now my old truck sounds as good as our newer car. The fact i have to pull my ipod out of its "showcase" protective case every time i use it aside, this is an awesome product. Great reception, snug fit, low profile and easy to use. Waaaay better quality then my old griffen iTrip i used with my 3rd generation. No software to install either.Customer Review: Finally a good radio transmitter

If you are ok with the size of this item then you will love this trasmitter. It comes with all the required attachments and fits perfect in my center console cup holder. It is definatly one of the strongest transmitters I have seen on the market. Also charges the iPod, I am happy!
